Cabin Porn

The book that came out of the website, and it is better than the website. Cabin Porn began as a scrapbook for a group of friends building on 55 acres of forest in upstate New York, and grew into the largest collection of handmade shelters anywhere. Zach Klein, a co-founder of Vimeo, chose the best of them for this hardcover: A-frames, sod-roofed huts, fire lookouts, boathouses, treehouses and yurts, photographed by Noah Kalina and written up by Steven Leckart, with longer stories about the people who built them and a closing chapter on making a quiet place of your own.
